New or Factory Overhauled Continental W-670-9A Radial Engines For WW-II LVT or Light Tank,

We are offering two new or factory overhauled Continental W-670-9A, 7-cylinder radial "Tank Engines," as used in the WW-II, M-2 Light Tank, M-3 Stuart Light Tank and LVT, Landing Vehicles

• We won't know if they are new or factory overhauled until the foil bag is opened, but either must be acceptable to the buyer.
• They are complete with the flywheel and clutch assembly, cooling shroud, exhaust, shielded ignition harness, spark plugs, starter, generator, governor, Bendix VMN7DFA magnetos, NAR6B carburetor, fuel pump, ignition booster and more.
• The photos of an uncrated engine are of another engine that wasn't nearly as nice as these, and are only to show what is included in this sale.
• They are in the original crates with a sealed foil bag as purchased by our great-grandfather, the late Chris D. Stoltzfus of Coatesville, PA, in 1958. They are the last two of 900 that he bought, and have always been stored inside. Preferred Airparts has kept them for 40-years for nostalgia' sake but it's time for a new home.
• Parts that interchange with Continental W-670 aircraft engines on Stearmans, Wacos, and others include cylinder assemblies, lifter assemblies, master and link rod assembly, cam and drive gear, VMN7DFA magnetos and mag drive gears, scavenge oil pump and drive gear, piston pins, plugs, rings and more, but the crankshaft, crankcase, accessory case, main oil pump and pistons do not.
